8は”be famous for～”（～で有名）という熟語、9は”the other day”（先日）、10は”What’s the matter (with you)”（どうしたの？）、11は”In Fact（実際）”という語彙・文法の問題。基本的なもので、日頃の語彙熟語の積み重ねが問われる問題。
14は、助動詞(should)の後の動詞は原型であるというルール、15は”it is 〇〇 for 人・物 to V”（人・物にとって、Vするのは〇〇だ、という基礎的な構文の問題）
⑤ ライティング（英作文）
Question：Do you like eating vegetables?
- あなたの考えとその理由を二つ英文で書くこと。語数の目安は25から35語。
中学3年間の基礎ができていれば特に問題なく対応できる問題。
当校の中学生授業ではこれら基本的な語彙文法を徹底的にマスターするに留まらず、大学受験や英検を熟知した講師が、英検2級や高校で学ぶ関連語彙も絡めて授業を展開するため、高校で学ぶ内容を一部先取りした、飛躍的な英語力の成長が期待できます。
次回は、英検二級について考察を致します。（英検二級となると話は随分かわります。問われる語彙力もそうですが、昨年度から開始された英語での要約問題の対応力が重要です）
